If you want to make it easier, add the template - FTSlider_widget_block between ...
<xf:css src="FTSlider.less" />
and
<xf:js src="FTSlider/jquery.fts.1.0.js">
just this one ...
<xf:js src="vendor/jquery/jquery-slim.js" min="1" />
<xf:js src="vendor/jquery/jquery-3.5.1.js" min="1" />
thus xenForo 2.3.x uses its own (albeit reduced) JS

The advantage... the files are available locally and do not have to be loaded from another server.

Hello friends! I once took the trouble and created "[XTR] Featured Thread Slider 1.1.7 for xenForo 2.3.x". Simply install the add-on and you're good. There are no errors because I have adapted the “hashes.json”.

I installed the v1.1.7 for 2.3x listed above.
I set the permission and adjusted the options but I don't see anything working.
I also had featured some threads and set the nodes in options and I even set it up as a widget still nothing.
There are no template modifications that are not working either.
Am I missing something or is this not working for 2.3.6?

Hello, it works perfectly with the version. 2.3.6 !
Have you made the changes mentioned above?
Was the modified 1.1.7 used? I haven't tested them yet.
Try installing the normal 1.1.7 and just make the code changes by me!

I figured it out.
I was checking the boxes to feature the threads and not using the feature threads button!
