Hello,

I have two domains that I have had for many years.
One of them is a special domain for XenForo's “Resources” add-on.
The other is a custom domain for the XenForo Forum feature.
Both are very valuable and I can't give them up.
Unfortunately, I can't use one domain name because I don't want to register separate memberships.

I want to connect these two sites to a single database and publish on separate domains.

@xenvn, If I ask you to develop a paid add-on for this, would it be possible?

You cannot use 1 database for 2 domains at the same time.

Another way is to choose 1 main domain, and the other domain uses the "RSS feed importer" tool to automatically fetch content from the main domain and republish it on the subdomain. A link will be inserted to point back to the main domain.

@reghost, yes is true but this add-on don't working. I was able to test it by accessing an older version. I don't know how it is now.

The links in the example he gave are subdomains, you have noticed.
I tried a version and couldn't get it to work and then I didn't dwell on it.

Hi @xenvn,

is there an easy way to integrate members and member groups?
have two databases (this seems inevitable) but only register from 1 site and whoever is a member of that site is automatically a member of the other.
Do you think this is possible?

@qene10
I haven't researched this issue yet.
But in my opinion, instead of managing many domains, I will focus on 1 main domain. The other domains are just a few articles to advertise the main domain.

I think we can use importer 🤔 import web 2 to web 1, transfer domain 2 to 1 (backup all) 😁 1 domain + 1 database
