Currently XenVn does not have an option to change the display position. To change you need to edit it manually.

=> Enable Xenforo "development mode". Then go to "Edit template modification -> forum_list -> Forum Slider & Statistics" to edit it.
-> Remove the line "<xf:if is="{$xf.options.xv_featured_thread.enable}">{{featured_thread()}}</xf:if>" and paste it where you want it to be displayed in the template " forum_list".
