XenVn - Hide Thread / Resource Content for Xenforo 2

This feature helps you hide the content and attachments of threads / rerources from user groups. Show only an image and short description. And a message asking users to login or upgrade their account to view the content.

It also prevents groups of users who do not have permission to view content from replying to threads or rating resources.
Thread / resource owners can see all content. Post owners can see their own content.

Recommended to enable: Add Thread Detail, View All Image Attachments

This feature is useful when you have important content and only want certain groups of users to be able to see it, or don't want guests to see it.



When enabling this feature, you must go to Groups and permissions to assign permissions to user groups that can view the content (Bypass Hide Thread Content feature).

Hi @xenvn,

A nice feature to attract members to the forum.
However, it may not be useful for Google.
Is it possible to add it with schema codes so that Google can see the entire content?

It is impossible, you cannot set up so that Google can see the content, because Google is also a guest, if Google can see it, guests can see it too.

However, the og:image, og:description tags and JSON-LD Schema code will be retained to support SEO.
