[DBTech] DragonByte Credits - XenForo 2 Credit System 6.0.0

DragonByte Credits.webp

DragonByte Credits is a highly advanced credits system for XenForo that offers advanced functionality suitable for casual activity and serious eCommerce engines alike.

Uses
  • DragonByte Credits allows you to create powerful "Events" that can occur throughout your forum. With advanced features such as charging, random additions and taxation, you can create truly interesting combination of events that allows you an unprecendented amount of control over your credits.
  • Our Currency Manager allows you to create virtually unlimited different currencies, each with their own set of Events. Want to make a premium currency that can only be earned a certain way? DragonByte Credits gives you the tools to do so.
  • Backed up by an advanced Transaction Log, you'll know exactly where all your credits come and go.

Major Features

DragonByte Shop Integration:
All of your DragonByte Shop purchases will show up in DragonByte Credits, allowing you to fully utilise the power of the Credits mod to support your Shop!

Payment Profile integration: New in v5.5.0, you can now add DragonByte Credits as a payment profile. You can then apply this payment profile to things like user upgrades, DragonByte eCommerce products, and more! This feature will work with any 1st party or 3rd party system that uses XenForo's built-in payment profile system to handle payments.

Powerful Events: You can create events and fine tune their functionality quickly and easily, with support for most XenForo functionality.

Event transaction moderation: You can now optionally moderate each and every transaction for any given event. This is particularly useful if you have, for instance, a Redeem event that's supposed to be secret but you suspect the code has been shared. Events will appear in the Approval Queue where moderators with the appropriate permission will be able to approve or reject it.

Redemption Codes: Via the "Redeem" event, you can create coupon codes your users can apply to instantly earn credits!

[CHARGE=X] BBCodes: Via the "Content" event, users can charge other users to view certain content.

Alerts: Full XenForo Alert support for all 30+ event types (current & upcoming)!

Developer Friendly: Powerful callback support for all Credits actions, as well as full XFCP support for extending virtually every piece of functionality and every action page!

Hello,

I have a question about the DragonByte Credits plugin...
Unfortunately, only the DragonByte Credits 5.7.7 version worked for me
without errors...

From the newer version, e.g. DragonByte Credits 5.8.x, the plugin is always faulty...
Since the newer version DragonByte Credits 5.8.4 - 6.0.x, the daily login (daily activities) settings are no longer awarded here...
I have tried over 100 settings, but it only works with the old version DragonByte Credits 5.7.7
All subsequent versions up to DragonByte Credits version 6.0.0
no longer count user daily login points....
I would like to downgrade to the DragonByte Credits 5.7.7 and Xenforo 2.2.16 version, but unfortunately I no longer have the plugin... :-)

Could someone make this available here again?
That would be great :-) Thank you very much....

Hello
I have tried over 100 settings, but it only works with the old version DragonByte Credits 5.7.7All subsequent versions up to DragonByte Credits

Thank you very much, now I can carry on :-) Great.....
______________

To address the topic again...
Does anyone know why the DragonByte Credits plugin with all successors to version v5.7.7 no longer awards login points for daily login?
(Daily activities)
Everything is set up and activated...
With DragonByte Credits 5.7.7 everything still works great :-)
With all successors after v5.7.7, this absolutely no longer works...
Strange, isn't it?

Here is a message of experience for all users who use this plugin or want to update it.

I have been using the Dragonbytes plugin for a while and have never had any problems with it.
Unfortunately, this is only the case up to version 5.7.7...
All other subsequent versions of the plugin do not work properly, namely,
when awarding credits for daily login points. (Daily activities)
Daily login points are no longer awarded correctly from version 5.8.0 up to the new version 6.6.0.

In the old versions up to v.5.7.7, daily login points were awarded via the user login trigger.

From version 5.8.0, a system crown job ensures this, but it only works sporadically, and the user only gets his credits for the daily login the following day, if at all! I can only recommend that all users do not upgrade to a new version after version 5.7.7.
It's not worth it, as this plugin no longer works properly from version 5.8.8.
I first thought it was due to my existing system or third-party plugins, but even with a brand new Xenforo 2.3.3 version installed without third-party plugins, it doesn't work..
Is it the case that the DragonByte Credits plugin remembers the user's exact login time, or is the daily login point
generally awarded every 24 hours/day. (THE CROWN JOB IS SET SO THAT IT DOESN'T PROCESS THE LOGIN UNTIL 00:00. THAT'S NONSENSE...OR
Daily login points should be visible in the system immediately, shouldn't they? Like before, via a "login trigger"
And not when the user logs in at 07:00, and the login credits are only awarded at 00:00.

With version 5.7.7, it works like this:
Example:
The user logs in at 07:00 on Monday: receives 10 credits for daily activities "IMMEDIATELY", for example.
If the same user logs in again on Tuesday at 00:01, he also receives the credits for daily activities, since it is a new day.
If the user logs in again on Tuesday at 07:00, he does not receive any credits, since he had already logged in at 00:00 on that day.
New credits will then only be awarded again on Wednesday from 00:00...
That's right, and that's how it should be..
But how does the new Crown job work?
Example:
The user was not online for 3 days.
No credits are awarded after logging in:
These credits are awarded, but are only visible to the user the next day when he has logged in again.
Something's not right... Why are login points not awarded immediately via Crown.Job..
Why? (Because it only processes the Crown job once a day every 24 hours/day - that's it!!!)
That's why I also downgraded to version v.5.7.7. The daily login points are awarded immediately, and the user receives a system notification. The fact that the new Crown job only processes this once every 24 is nonsense in my opinion, especially since it always worked reliably before using a login trigger.

So for me the new Dragonbytes Credits plugin from version 5.8.0 is unusable...

Conclusion:
New is not always better, especially when other functions suddenly no longer work properly.

This text is just information for all users who also use this plugin, and are surprised that after the upgrade from version 5.8.8 everything no longer works as usual...

Best regards...

I have another question about the program "Dragonbytes Credits 6.0.0 ...

Is there any way to set it so that the daily login credits are awarded via "user login trigger" and not via crown job?
It's just not good if the daily login points are only awarded hours later, when the crown job is processed.
I think this new feature with the Crows job when awarding the daily login points is an absolute programming error!
It used to work perfectly with the old versions, for example: 5.7.7.
Now the program is no longer usable, at least not in the new version 6.0.0 --
what a pity...
