I asked an xf freelance tech who was doing a job one time if we remove the XFcrappyrite around 6 months ago.
Not sure if this is how he removed it, but somehow he did and yeah, xf went fkn apeshit.

Was thinking about actually payin' them c_nts the $300, except I ain't coughin' up three hundy to remove a single strip of text, I mean, farkin'ell what a swinish scam.

So I simply changed the footer text to match the background...voila! No steaming wad of XFcrappierite garbage.
Job done!
