This feature helps you automatically convert external images into attachments, apply to threads and resources.

Hi,

What should I do to convert old extensions from resources and threads to attachments?

For example:
www.site.com
www.site.com

There are many links that take images from ftp in this way in threads (posts) and resources.
Unfortunately, when we say "edit" them, it does not attachment.
What would you suggest me on this?

Currently this feature only works when you post a new post or edit an old post.

You must change the post content. If just hit edit and save it won't work.

What you said definitely doesn't work.
There is an image in the sources, it's attached via remote URL.
I made "edit" and made changes to the text content.
However, the image still remains as the remote URL, no attachment.

if an image is in a remote link belonging to the same domain, then it does not make the images an attachment. For example, site.com/images/aa.jpg If the link of the image is like this, then it doesn't make an attachment.

This function is called: "Convert external images to attachments". So it only works with external (different domain) image links.
